This video clip demonstrates the use of pixelation to simulate the visual acuity of the human vision system. The mosaic pattern is refined over time to represent moving closer to the snellen eye chart and thus increasing the ability to resolve detail on a standard letter shape. The angle of subtended arc is a function of distance from the viewed object and is the primary consideration in human vision analysis with respect to an individual's ability to see a particular object.
