  • There are fewer motor units recruited (given the same weight) during an eccentric muscle contraction. Also, eccentric actions use less oxygen, produce less lactate....

  • No gravity plays a huge role

  • When your muscles are fully extended or fully flexed you are weakest... This is due to your sarcomeres are pulled father away or being overlapped.
