@canderso I have one of Ron's hideous face monster mugs he signed for my husband and me back in 98. I was hoping to find something on him for I was going back there, (Cedar Keys) in a couple months and hoped to see him. TY for uploading this video and letting me know I have a good chance in finding him.

he sells on ebay a lot... he's one of the best face jug makers there, but i wish he'd omit the big brown tongues. they sometimes ruin the whole piece for me.

Iv'e dug Ron's work only for a short while now, but by watching this video, my eyes are so open to the materials and techniques he employs. When you look at the pieces on his webpage, you wonder, "How the hell did he do that"? Once again, by watching this video, alot of questions I had, have now been anwsered. Every Ron fan should watch this "inside Ron's head", video. Great job!! Kevan

what are the teeth, i know they are obviously clay. Were they premade tho? or just like busted bone-dry pieces.

Wow. You have a steady camera hand, Canderso!
Ron gives a great explanation of terms and techniques. This is fun!
This is probably my favorite AiR title. It's the first I shot, and probably the most "crude," but I ran into Ron behind the Cedar Key artist's co-op in Cedar Key FL. He was working in a shed making his mugs w/o a care in the world. I loved his sense of humor and asked if I could "shoot" him. The next day when I showed up he was prepared with the entire "presentation." I shot the whole thing hand-held, swiveling around on an office chair.
