The Martian Entropy Band is a performance art and fusion jazz ensemble from Ann Arbor Michigan featuring Mike Gould on bass and vocals, Tim Prosser on guitar and vocals, Hugh J. Hitchcock on keyboards and guitar, and Bill Gracie on drums. This clip is the first song from a short film produced by Steve Wild in 1973 featuring the band and its companion light show, the Light Opera. This intro actually combines two songs -- a takeoff on the Star Trek theme called "Cheese Frontier" by the band and a composition by Hugh Jarvis HItchcock entitle "Departure, Arrival and Sleep Finally".
