Hardware Store Steam Boiler

This boiler is made from a 2X5" water pipe. I found the plans in a Popular Mechanics (FEB 1963) magazine. The water is circulated by the coils and is heated by a propane burner. WARNING: STEAM WILL MELT THE FLESH FROM YOUR BONES, ALWAYS DO A HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE TEST TO 3 TIMES WORKING PRESSURE BEFORE USING THIS TO PRODUCE STEAM. NEVER TEST WITH AIR!

Just one word of advice.

Double check that your safety valve is working EVERY time you flash it up. You get crap in your safety and you have a very nasty bomb.
