  • lol funny 20-60 in under 1 second and one gear.

  • @FoMoCo4ever Cant always rely on wiki, this was straight out of the FSM. I don't think ZF would put false numbers

  • @lfrigoli I just seen on wikipedia it's rated for 443ft/lb. I figured that was pretty accurate considering i broke mine after 33k miles lol

  • @FoMoCo4ever That would be a false statement, straight out of the build book for the ZF 6HP26 the input shaft will hold 600 Ft/lb peaking at 700 Ft/Lb. So its pretty safe to say these trannys are solid for the common user.

If you need to build more power Im sure Level10 will shotpeen and Cyro the input shaft to take more power.

  • @lfrigoli Yeah i gave up on mine and got a 88 Mustang. That car needs a lot of mods that aren't available like a decent trans and rear gears. The ZF trans thats in the car is only rated for a max of 480lb/ft of torque

  • @FoMoCo4ever

Nope Had the car for a while, just been doing tune up items, like playing with heat ranges on plugs, changing all sensors, some porting, honing, all the usual suspects to help make more power.

  • @lfrigoli Far from hard to drive with 2.76 gears. Try launching the car once when the temp is above 70 and it'll only chirp a few times. You just get the car?

  • @FoMoCo4ever

hahahaha your funny, did you see my DSC is off? Its very hard to drive with DSC on since its constantly gripping the brakes and pulling timming.

  • @lfrigoli 20-60 in 1 second LoL

Must of been a nice rainy day cause them cars can't spin tires that much from a dig

  • @chiropractic47

    That was 2nd to 3rd.

Its utterly usless to stab the throttle from a dead stop all it will do is eat the big fat tires.
