picpatapee: what's wrong with singing in thai??? u have other lao peeps and other ethnics singing american song, cambodian songs etc....???

i see nothing wrong with it. yes u can love ur country and have pride but it doesnt mean u cant go outside of their box to explorer more opportunities...

I am Thai. This album is lao language . Next album release in Thailand only is Thai language. Big label in my country saw quality of them and signed for album in Thailand . They sent 1 promo mv only and failed in project because alternative rock and grunge very very popular . almost listener didn,t like heavy metal as 90's .

@vongsengdara right! i love lao songs and lao artist. especially if one makes their own lyrics and musics like boungard-the three brothers, khomsan k. and exile. well there's more. some lao songs are meant to be kept in certain melody. i dont like how fly re did kurab paksarn but gives him prop that he's trying to make it's own style. some thai cant sing lao songs well bc they dont have the vocal of khon lao if you know what i mean. there are many good thai singers that i like too that i like.

@saobomp - True that, But I think it is ok to sing in other language, thai included. Exile sang it really well too. You right too that people will say whatever, and Exile can sing in thai too since they sang it really well, and true we can not be narrow minded, and singing in thai just shows that Exile is versatile and talented. I say, it is ok to sing in thai, as long as one does not completely sing in thai, otherwise, people will wonder why one sing 100% in thai.

@vongsengdara: regardless there will always be someone that will talk. you do well you do badly people will voice their opinion. cant stop people from talking. i seen so many thai singer that takes lao songs to sing??? i say some of them doesnt sound good as the lao singer does but they are trying to make it their own version or what not. perhaps that album they did didnt go so well. perhaps this time they know their fans doesnt like them singing in thai and they will not do it again.
