I am getting an ipad 2 for xmas and I can't wait! So glad this was reviewed with a white ipad as it's the one I've chosen. It looks super sleek :)

The Xoom looks like a nice piece of kit too. Definitely NOT lacking anything. I like the look of the ipad better though. It really is personal preference, IMO.

The funny thing about this review is that you predicted half the stuff on iOS 5. The notification center and not plugging it in to a computer. It is like they took your suggestions and fixed the iOS.

i really dont like the widget idea on the Xoom it has such a huge screen its unappealing. at least the ipad 2 maximizes screen real estate

i have been searching for months for a tablet, right of the bat i knew i wanted and ipad bcusz " i really dont know why " i guess its just popular ect.. but i finally have dicided to look into this more, and even tho the ipad has better color resolution, its not all about resolution, the cameras are both better, flash, u can extend ur memory and last but not least u can also customize ur home screens and u have the android marker which has 5 times more apps than the apple itself.. love my Xoom

I have owned a few laptops before, and to be honest they're a pain in the ass as u have to pay money to protect against virus's etc, and

I have owned the iPad 2 for a few months now and it always runs at the same speed no matter how much I use it. I bet the Xoom and other pc based tablets also suffer from lag. And r probably prone to viruses and crashing. And you can't fault iTunes. iPad is a proven tech and should not be felled by over complication of its system. Simple and smart. End of.

waiting for ipad3 if the new ipad still cant beat android i will go ahead and buy an android tablet
