"Criminals began killing each other on the streets in broad daylight and police were being ferried into court charged with allegations of involvement in organised crime. Despite my reservations, I knew I had to do something. I simply resigned myself to the fact that I was a dead man walking."

  • Simon you exemplify what policing is meant to be about. Thank you so much. I wish you and your family all the very best.

  • most cops are brainwashed snakey wimps

  • The Police Force is run by gutless wimps who go to work by going to the hairdressers or have long lunches going to functions with government ministers. Corruption comes from the top and some detectives , but the juinor ranks who partol the streets work hard with little thanks from the brass.

  • @ange8961 that kinda makes sense.

  • @theresuga Maybe they should screen their recruits better. Still I heard majority of VicPol is bent.

  • @boxa1500 That's why now they regularly rotate drug teams. It's true, they have accepted that the money the drug cops have opportunity to make is SO huge, it's almost inevitable they will flip. Unfortunately the lure of money is rather seductive.

  • Personally I'm not against beating a crook. But accepting pay offs getting involved with drugs etc. Just wrong.

  • Onya Mate!

  • If they treat their own this badly, Can you imagine how badly they must treat criminals or the average jo citizen who they take a disliking to???? Make me very uneasy.
