  • awesome band!

  • @hurl771 Dude, Undercover were never "punk". They had a couple of songs that sounded punk, they also had ska sounding songs as well. Generally, they were one of a number of very cool christian "new wave" bands out of Orange County, CA in the early 80's. I saw Undercover, the LIfesavors, the Lifters, the Alter Boys, CIA, Immortal Youth, and a host of other bands like them on a weekly basis at house parties, CCCM Friday Night Lives, EVFree, etc. It was a great era of Christian new wave music

  • @hurl771 no, what happened is they became a talented band who could play actually music. Besides you clearly know nothing of the tumult that went into Balance Of Power, which was an honest album rather than a collection of slogans.

  • I like their punk, but go listen to Build a Castle on Branded, Awsome song, probly my favorite, the lyrics are so powerful!

  • This song and "Is anyone Thirsy" are the most intense Undercover songs!

  • are these da same guys who did baker street had an album called check out da groove back in da 90's? wouldnt mind gettin me hands on dat album but i know its out of production long time now! If anyone knows it would be much appreciated thx :)

  • these guys should have stayed punks they would be a super group now branded had only one good song "tears" and the one after it was un listenable and the cover looked like they were tring to copy u2

  • i saw these guys in san fransisco 2 times in the 80s and just loved them i love the fast punk songs God rules holy then their music changed i bought this one tape and the only song that was good on it to me was this song called 'tears in my eyes' and the rest were not like that song and they were not punk sounding then at the bookstore i saw that they made an album after that. the cover looked like they were trying to copy u2 they had a demo tape it sounded no good to me that was the end of th

  • check out crucified you might like them better
