  • Betty and Marion look like twins = I cannot tell them apart If you want to see some dancing Betty is sensational. Does anyone know the woman that sang during this era and had a dead pan look never smiled? I just cannot remember

  • @goldenpassages That would be Virginia O'Brien.

  • Wow. I tuned in for Marion and Tex, but those two singers and dancers in the second half of the video stole the show. They were amazing! Who were they?

  • Why, the great Nicholas Brothers of course!

  • This stuff is almost 70 years old... and it still sounds about 100 percent better than the crap they're pushing out these days. I was born in the wrong era.

  • At 2:46 they hit the next octave and with excellent pitch, these folks know their work

  • The commercially issued record was unusual in that the other side , "At Last" (we all know the Etta James version) was also a hit.

  • Glenn Miller was great but wow what dancing by the nicholas brothers...nobody could top that and i mean nobody!

  • 4:20 The Nicholas Bros:)

  • THIS CLIP IS FROM THE MOVIE ORCHESTRA WIVES.....

  • WOW, WHAT A GROUP OF GREAT STARS ! Marion Hutton, ( Betty Hutton's sister ) the great Glenn Miller, his friend the singer Tex Beneke, Jackie Gleason, ( playing the bass guitar ) and César Romero at the piano......César Romero was the illegitimate grandson of José Martí, Cuba's greatest national hero born in 1853....( 1853-1895 ) I love to see Tex Beneke here coming around the piano and knocking César's music papers down......Those were beautiful music years....Sierra Cuban, Miami, FL

  • Wow! That MGM sure could make great musicals but I'm surprised that they didn't do this one in Technicolor.

  • i live in kalamazoo!!!!!!!!
