Ancestry.com black man's ancestor born a slave

This unsettling ad from ancestry.com suggests something might be embarassing or awful about an ancestor being forced into subjection and oppression against his will and beyond his control. As if slaves were to blame for their own abuse. Just an awful, horrid suggestion. Had been looking for this for a while, found on science channel of all places at about 640am, july 6.

Many African tribes used to fight each other to capture as many prisoners of war as possible. The winning tribe would reach an agreement with European traders and sell the slaves. Black tribes sold other black people into slavery to make money. It's not just white people who were bad back in the day. Also, there are still millions of slaves today in Asia and Africa as well as hidden slaves (trafficking) all across the world in EVERY country. There are more slaves today than there were back then.
