Dell Commercial 2010 - Shatter Effect

i created 3d model of dell laptop using autodesk maya few months back but just now i decided to use it in animation. shatter effect created in adobe after effects and it was very time consuming & heavy on render.

idea was borrowed from commercial created by dell company where their product shatters into small piecies just like in this animation.

I love what you have done here. Especially how you make the top transparent and show the hardware inside the laptop and rotate the fans. That part was sheer genius, I truly believe it should have been used in the regular commercial. Other than that, everything is pretty much the same compared to the actual commercial. Keep up the good job and hopefully you can get in with the big boys someday. :D
