Carwashed Socks Two.wmv

Rinse and Repeat, and then off to work in squishing, soaked shoes and socks. Only one guy asked me if my shoes were wet. I let him know just how wet they were by showing him the "dry.wet" line on my socks and slacks. "Crazy" was his response, followed with "maybe I'll try it sometime." Stayed damp all day. Sorry about the ending - the water got too deep and the camera started to flip over.

@cooper62636 I did. The thicker the socks, the better they squished. How do they look now that they dried out? I always love that dried out, abused leather look they get after a few good soakings.

The Bostonian shoes look exactly like they did before the soaking probably because I keep them well polished with a neutral wax. If they had been black you might see a little more weathering. I like socks to be thin, yet can see your point about the squishing of thicker socks. When I was young my Mom got me some thick socks which took forever to dry out. Once she realized I was going to often come home with wet shoes and socks no matter what, she switched back to thin.
