It's true, some drain energy or souls instead of blood like Asian vampires for instance like in Japan where they have those kinds of vampires. Some vampires don't need fangs but sharp as blades teeth like Egyptian vampires and some vampires can walk in the daylight without being roasted etc. there are no rules for vampires.

And the people who thought the vampires in "Twilight" were "different" should learn about other types of vampires and watch The Hunger to Lifeforce.
