  • so niceeeeeee.. we are lucky we share our past, culture.. and i love a greek guy!! as be turkish i proud of this... Aegean belongs to fishes!!!!! no war make love!!

  • There arent fight between people of Turkey and Greece. Its just the governments and politics and I believe both of them have their own reasons. It just seems the Turkey side is the one always trying to find solutions and volunteering the first step of project. You can see that if you keep close to politics.

  • @minkimongi aferim from a greek guy

  • Turkey and Greece will be friends again.I am sure we will.Love and respect from Turkey to Greek brothers!

  • We have so many wonderful things in common to share.

Yet instead of focusing on these things, they breed the hate between us. Completely stupid.

Thank you very much for sharing this masterpiece!!!

  • @flat13onfire I know that we turks like to take credit for lots of things and music is one but the truth is that greek music and armenian music were big influences on our music as well as arabic but music from smyrna is definately greek but touched with a tiny bit of turkish culture i guess well they did live with them so we must get a tiny bit of credit though i would say it is 90% greek.obviously 100 % greek singers.

  • Very nice!! mY grandfather was from Smyrna, he lost his house and everything but i dont have any bad feelings, this is past. About the origin of the song sorry Turkish fellows but when we talk about the music of Smyrna and this specific musical style its Greek. Most of these shared songs were originaly Greek and the Turkish versions followed. In Costantinoupoli it was the opposite, Turkish music was more influentiall.

    Thanx Romeikos for the upload!!

  • this is wonderful!!! thank you for posting...

  • After the exchange of population between Greece and Turkey, there where Christians that came from Turkey and they didn't know to speak the Greek language, they spoke in Turkish and they used to hear Turkish songs. Thanks for this rare recording!
