Misty is just not Ash's type, and Drew is not May's type either, Ash looks like May's type because their both trainers and have a hat and bandana, so i say May is Ash's type.

@SelenaandShuichifan We all have our opinion on who we think MIGHT be best for ash.. but we cant choose a girl for him can we? No. Technically Ash is 6 years older than May at all times. (i think, could be wrong) But cannon wise no probs not. So thinking of it like that May's abit too young.. Fans want Ash to be with May more cus its the most popular out of the others. I personally prefer Misty myself.. and to me having had a much longer relationship with her is quite special. Opinion > Fact.

@GuruSMEGHEAD Well, your opinions aside, a relationship between Ash and May is perfectly plausible. Look around you. Many couples have the man being 4 - 6 years older than the woman. Obviously, they didn't get together when one was 12 and the other 18, but when Ash and May are both a bit older their relationship will make more sense and age won't matter. You can discount my opinion, though - I spend my time waiting for May to pop out of a hole from another dimension. Heh heh...

@captinchillin That's the best thing about Pokemon! Don't talk about reality with Ash's years. Ash never gets old and Pokemon never ends. Pokemon is the best thing ever created on this world.

@GuruSMEGHEAD actually both Ash and May are 10 years old :P Misty is older than Ash because she had a pokemon before him (You can get a pokemon at the age of 10) Brock is 10 as-well or 11 Dawn is younger than all of them, but she is still 10 too. Team Rocket (Jessie and James) are 12 years old. There are a lot of scene that were banned from the anime after the aired in Japan, one of them involves Ash kissing May.

@GuruSMEGHEAD in my opinion ash is like 16 and may is 15 in reality ash is like 30 since he was 10 in 1990 something and its 20 some years later but according to the show hes apparently still ten but if each show is a day in pokemon time hed atleast be 16 may just looks 15 to me i dont have a theory for her
