Composer Suzannah Doyle shows 3 easy ways to start making up melodies (improvising) when playing a C7 chord. Rather than focusing on note names or numbers, you instead play using "neighborhoods" of notes in a more spatial way. These note groups are:
1. C Scale (w/ b7) neighborhood
2. C7 chord notes (4 notes neighborhood)
3. C Blues scale neighborhood
