I like this car because it has REAL WORLD ROOM in the back seat and trunk. The Pontiac G8 also has a huge interior. Who the crap wants a sedan that is so small inside that rear passengers are packed in like 3 ppl in a phone booth? Bravo, Ford! The dash also has a stylish and updated look....nice.

here's the thing. Currently, because it is a little boring, with incentives (selling for $5,000 below invoice, about $9,000 below MSRP) the RL isn't that much more than a really well equipped Taurus.  If you like its somewhat boring styling the RL might not cost any more to operate due to better resale, longer base warranty, and predicted better reliability. It'll have a little more refined interior, better handling. The Taurus is almost there, but not quite.

Ford's are ugly 'eh, ever looked at the new Accord or butt ugly any series BMW that looks like a whale ass got tacked onto it and you get to pay twice for it and it still breaks down a lot? Hate on the US cars all you want, I laugh at the clowns at my work when they show up in loaners every other week and my pile of junk Ford's go in for oil and the usual while they scream in their office at the service department manager who is yet again not able to fix their 75k BMW.
