If you dont mind me asking, how do you change out the forks, is it just triple clamp replacement?

@dumfart21 I think the 1988-89 cr500 triples bolt directly to the XR6 Frame. Then just slide in what ever forks you want as long as the diameters match up.

hey guys, thanks for the comments. I sold the bike but the rim set is a talon/excel combo. The front end is off of a CR250 if my memory serves me correct.

It is some Taiwan headlight off of ebay. it looks good and clean, but the quality is cheap.
