No ground for communist propaganda..Tibet was a free land.

Tibet was a independent country before communist Chinese invasion in 1959.Mao had began sending PLA in Tibet as helper in 1951 than in 1959 completely occupied the whole country...A nation with a size of 2.5 million square km (bigger than a western europe)and just with only 6 million populations.Tibet don't have any powerful millitary but peasant volunteers fight and ensure escape route for Dalai Lama to safe land.
That was a big blow to communist.Now TIBET cause is highlighted in the world.Despite communist China spent millions on propaganda,international community doesn't believe communist propaganda accept the some semi-literate chinese.Communist always blame western world trying to justifying their illegal occupation of TIBET but always fail.
Dalai Lama has made a very amicable gesture to communist authority for negotiation.He had accepted Tibet as part of china but still china don't trust him.That is the typical communist attitute.

china has earned the right to rule tibet because it kicked the pansy ass dalai lama and his crew to the slums of india. at this moment, any country is willing to sell out tibet for a chinese contract. everyone kicks the dalai lama like a football. after 60 yrs in exile, the stupid campaign to free tibet is a complete failure and even dalai lama admits the reality of his failure and created the middle way to avoid embarassment.

The Dalai Lama ruled over a far worse dictatorship than the CPC. No one could read or write, life expectancy was pathetic and all of the land was owned by 5% of the population, who also owned the people who lived on the land. Tibet under CPC is a much better place.

Get over your grudge against the CPC because they are the next big thing in this world, and your archaic views won't be listened to.

@tadorjee Oh my God... The Simla accord stated that Tibet WAS part of China!! It stated that it was autonomous and that the Chinese government wouldn't interfere in its internal affairs much, but it did assert that Tibet was part of the Republic of China.

I've already Told you once, I'll say it again, go Google some maps of China from different sources and different ages. They ALL show Tibet as part of China. It was never independent

@smezec Since centuries Tibetan was never been a part of china.U can see Simla agreement between Britain,India and Tibet but China didn't attend that meeting.

My grand father killed during cultural revolution.My father volunteerly join tibetan guerrila force to fight communist army.China may have many ehenic groups but that doesn't mean that all her neighbours are part of China.

Tibet,east Turkistan and inner Mongolia have never been part of China untill communist over ruled China.Free Tibet

@tadorjee And so what if Tibet has its own language and religion etc? That doesn't mean it can't be part of China. China has over 50 ethnic grouops, many languages and many religions, I think a world where maps were drawn based on religion and ethnicity would be a terrible thing. I'm from Britain which is a nation made up of other nations put together, and it works pretty well!
