  • Note to Viewers:: This was a BRAND NEW MACHINE from Bed, Bath and Beyond. It was purchased the day before... not a refurb, not a floor model, but a brand new, unopened box. Just an FYI to help with the troubleshooting process.

  • Clean as a whistle? Are you kidding? First of all, try cleaning that nasty black mold around the top of the reservoir. Is that the woman of the house @ 1:24 complaining the Keurig only lasted a year and a half? She might consider more cleaning and less bashing a good product. I think it's safe to assume that you have used the machine hard and have never cleaned or maintained it. Gross. F-

  • @mstargazer88 Thanks for your mature and thoughtful comment... I'm sure like me, others viewing this vid and reading this thread need look no further for answers than your words of wisdom. F-

I originally posted this video to illustrate a problem I was having with this PARTICULAR Keurig model and how I was able to duplicate the problem. In this way, hopefully others might find this useful when deciding upon a coffee maker. The Keurig in the video was BRAND NEW, purchased the day before.

  • @mstargazer88 Oh, and that "black mold" is light being refracted from the condensation lining the top of the reservoir... no doubt there as a result of the proximity to the under-counter lighting. We ended up taking this model back and buying a Cuisinart Keurig and have been pleased with it (though it has a few quirks also.)

As for "bashing a good product," a person needs only to Google this model number to read the various issues people have posted. Thanks again for being such a class act.

  • 2 things, i call them (like Stuffyou100 Said) and 2, dont put hot water in the resovoir, it heats the water itself....

  • @delliswierd oh, I failed to mention that the whole "deflate the k-cup" thing didn't work for ending liquid level.... though it does tend to prevent grounds in your coffee.

  • Ours has this exact same issue, but it's a different model.

  • Same problem I'm having, on my third B70 in less than 6 months. Tried white vinegar descale, paperclip orifice clearing, and only use reverse osmosis water without success. Love the coffee, not happy with the hassles.

  • @leehartling THanks for your post leehartling... I was going to buy another one online, but since reading your post, I am going to buy my 3rd one at Costco, I never thought about them taking them back. I got the other 2 from QVC, and after less than a year, they don't take it back. So I appreciate your sentiments.. I'm not sure if they are good machines or not. I really like the thing, but I read so many people have problems.. and some ARE NOT FIXABLE..like mine. Happy new year!

  • mstargazer88 - It's clearly condensation, and video like these are to help consumers make choices or see if others have similar issues. Great concept but the machine has it's issues. One is the cost of the K-Cups, brew sizes are off, and has anyone noticed the temp is not even close to what the machine says it is. Try doing a black cup of coffee with a meat thermometer in it. If you don't like someones opinion of what issues they are having, don't watch the video !

  • its official I'm just buying the b155 lol

  • This only works for machines with the 3 buttons for mugs sizes, and if at any time the trick is not working unplug the machine for a second or two, plug it in and then try again. I have only used this for the Not Ready flashing problem, but it may help for other things too since it resets the machine to factory. Hope this helps some people.

  • 1. Press and release small and medium mugs together, then quickly press menu 3 times. You should see 609 on the screen. 2. Press Menu once, and then the screen should say Brew 0:00. 3. Hold Medium Mug, while holding press and release menu, then press small mug, and let go of medium and small mug at the same time. This has to be done quickly. Then unplug the machine and after 3 seconds plug it in and push power button. Continue....

  • And there is no way to take it apart without cutting off the top. Anyway, after getting it apart, I took off the air pump, and dismantled it, and put some dielectric grease on the pump stem, and the cells, and then when I put it back together I got the dreaded Not Ready flashing. I searched the internet for an hour until I found a fix that Keurig does not tell ANYONE about. After applying the fix, my machine is back to 100% working order again. CONTINUE FOR THE FIX.....

  • It's a good product but with faults. The problems I found on the internet are far too many to mention but I know one that may help some people. The air pump is a celluloid type pump and the pump stops working after a while. As a result the water comes out very slow, and at the end it does not push out the remaining liquid. Taking apart the machine is impossible without cutting the top off, and I know cause I had to do mine last night. CONTINUE.....

  • @knslyr THEY MAKE BIGGER K-CUPS FOR BIG MUGS at keurig . com just type in mug and you will find it
