i love FFXI it's time consuming, but will NOT waste your time. (unless you camp 4% drop rate NMs... Mee Deji the Punisher for instance -________-)

@yumcakes1 They are very different games. I played both. WoW was great if I was short on time but wanted to do some quests, but sense fo accomplishment was crap cause it was all easy, and it's now easier. FFXI has a much better presentation of story and you feel great when you hit mile-stones, but it does take a lot of time.

@soulessphilosopher no, of course not... it is just the second successfull game after WoW but hey... if you dont play it nobody else does obviously.

It has more RPG elements than many other MMO's. It IS a Final Fantasy game, after all.
