  • Wow Spencer, it's been a long time since we've seen any new posts from you. Glad you're back!! Happy New Year!!

  • Thank you - it's great to be back! 2011 was a busy year, but we are back posting more great music - and most important - no copywrite issues to date.

I've got a lot of tunes coming up, so stay tuned!

  • New Orleans R&B at it's finest... peaked at #1 and held it for 3 weeks beginning the week ending June 6, 1964.

  • Much appreciate the Billboard chart info - saves me from having to look it up so I can post more records! Check out the line-up of producers during the label shot - how could this record fail back then?!

  • @TheBeebopper I have this also from that album "WRKO's 30 Now Goldens", but I'm not going to upload it due to WMG. It was the last cut from that album. I also have the 45 of that too and from the album "Gary Stevens 22 More Good Guy Goldies".

  • This is one of the song that it was featured on the double LP which I got this one today and it was from the LP "WRKO's 30 Now Goldens" on the Post label. This LP has all 30 songs on this album that are selected from a radio station WRKO in Boston. Buzz Curtis produced that compilation. This is very rare and hard to find, This was when Post Records released a series of albums that were given by radio stations including WOR-FM, CKLW, etc.

  • @WABCRADIO77 You're most welcome, Spencer! Your channel is easy one of my favorites on YouTube and when you stopped posting regularly, I became concerned about your whereabouts. Very happy to see new posts from you and look forward to more! :)

  • @WABCRADIO77 I'm in UK and got this:

    Sorry about that.

  • LOVE IT!! You rock Spencer!!

  • Right and it hit during the British Invasion when a lot of American acts were having a hard time on the charts or many got blown away.
