An insight into the lack of treatment and care unwanted Bulgarian children get in care homes. Director Kate Blewett visits a children's care home in Bulgaria and investigates the conditions in which the children live.
@Mssilverfur9 The reason for the broken bones look like classic osteopenic fractures. You seem like an arrogant bitch who should probably actually open a book before opening her mouth
@Musicofthissphere I wish it were only a vitamin deficiency. I understand this documentary is difficult to watch. Do you really think it could all be a vitamin deficiency? There is light in there and one inch squared of skin for 15 minutes a day is enough vitamin D for an adult. It isn't about vitamins. This is the most horrific thing Ive ever seen in my life and vitamin D answer makes me sad for you.
this shit is just crazy. I work in a huge pig farm, and we take better care of pigs than they do about the children. We get inspectors visiting once in a while, always unannounced and if they find at least one pig with bad leg or very sick we get huge fine.
Giving these poor children Vitamin D could prevent these fractures. This should be a crime against humanity the way these children are treated. It's totally inadequate
One more thing! This is a HUGE reminder of how much I my self HAVE been blessed to live in the circumstances like what I have. So what maybe my parents were not perfect but they tried in every way to improve their parenting skills.
@ljutazmija you say understand the nurses a bit are u crazy they shouldnt even be nurses,it doesnt cost money to give a cuddle or a hug these so called nurses are there just for the wages nothing else they are fat pigs and the man who beats them in the laundry is disgusting typical eastern european dogs
@batchevski but ufortunetly there is some abuse from the men in this video for example but the nurses are doing there best... i am sad with this really but the nurses dont suck the people running it suck...
@justkeely96 beieve me its true... these nurses receive so poor conditions to work in they dont have any money ... unfortunetly bulgaria is porr and does not have any money to pay for better facilities... unfortunetly to say i can understand some of the things that the nurses say and some are not translated correctly they do help alot...
ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? That is absolute bullshit. Those poor children are being treated like trash. Those nurses obviously do not care for their well being, they only care about the money that's there for them at the end of the day. If those nurses cared about those children, they wouldn't be malnourished and treated like shit. The nurses/doctors/owner all make excuses as why those children are the way they are. Mental illness or not, those children deserve basic human rights.
The nurse are giving the best, they have everyday physikal and psyhikal stress, this job is not easy to make.I am sure ,the nurses want to help that children for making them a better life there ,but they cant, because there is no money for to doing something better for the kids. Please understand the nurses a little...
@guest062888 ok,. first of all. i hope u get euthanize. if you think these people are worth euthanizing, then i guess your own pathetic life is lower than theirs...
@Musicofthissphere Well doctor Kellogs box I am quite sure it may look like a lot but it sure as shit isnt a vitamin D deficiency.

This is why I hate irresponsibility. If you don't want or can't afford children. Keep your legs closed and sealed tight.
