Robert Greenwald, director of Brave New Films, answers questions posed to him by the You Tube News and Politics Staff, such as

1) What motivated you to start Brave New Films?

2) Could you briefly explain the process of making a BNF video, from concept to posting?

3) What have you found to be some of the challenges of producing and distributing online political content? And what have been some of the rewards?

4) Compared to most political channels on YouTube, your videos receive a ton of traffic. At last count, your latest McCain video is at 1.5 million views. What's your main PR strategy? How do you go about getting the word out?

5) How has YouTube impacted or helped with your efforts?

6) What are some of the projects BNF has in store for the near future?

7) From watching your videos, it's clear you guys aren't fans of John McCain. Aside from him being the GOP nominee, what are your substantive issues with him?

8) What advice would you give to fledgling political videomakers? Any important lessons you've learned along the way?

9) How does what you're doing now compare to your days as a TV and feature film director?

  • Or Nader. Nader is the most qualified of three well-known candidates in this election, and yet people just brush him aside. They brush anyone aside who's a real man of the people, someone who actually tells it like it is. Instead, they call him all kinds of derogatory names and things like "spoiler."

They did it to Ron Paul. They did it to Mike Gravel. They did it to Ralph Nader. They did it to Dennis Kucinich.

Face it, voters: You DON'T want a real reform candidate. Too much work

  • Remember during the primaries he did all those videos attacking fox and other media outlets for attacking Obama, supposedly "parroting" Fox? That may have been true, but notice who he DIDN'T ask Fox to stop attacking: Hilary. It's obvious he hated Hilary and wanted Obama to win, so he called Fox on criticism of his guy but not the other candidate, in a very partisan fashion.

Robert, deep down, is a partisan tool masked as a liberal savior. Support real progressives like Gravel and Kucinich

  • Robert Greenwald is good at informing people through his documentaries and being at the NCMR, but look closer. who does he support? most likely Obama, just like all the major well-known liberals and celebrities in this country, including Jimmy Carter (who just 2 years ago said Obama wasn't experienced or qualified) and Al Gore.

Of course, they're all endorsing him simply b/c he's a Democrat and the nominee, because of this shallow "electability" nonsense, not the truly deserving candidate.

  • fuck you assbandit

  • Good to know what you are SpaceCadet . . .

  • We are simply trapped there, no way out. Honestly, if we try to leave who knows the end result and how it could spiral throughout the Middle East. We are so fucked.

  • Are you aware of Bush's "secret" negotiations with the government of Iraq to keep U.S. troops and bases in Iraq indefinitely and to have control of Iraq airspace? He is calling it an alliance rather than a treaty in an attempt to bypass ratification by congress and is pushing for the plan to be completed by July 31, 2008

  • love what you are doing
