The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Lightning Round Boss Rush (SPOILERS)

Lanayru's Lightning Round is two parts - Battle and Silent Realm. This is the former - the Boss Rush, where Link may fight all the bosses he's encountered thus far. If you happen to be playing in Hero Mode, all of them will be unlocked from the start.

Win 4 and 8 battles, get a Piece of Heart and an "absurdly sturdy" shield, respectively, the first time you get to each. Win all 12 on Hero Mode, get a complete refill of your wallet.

i need help when i beat the game it says hero mode or no hero mode.. i want to put no hero mode... if i put no hero mode can i still fight demise as much as i want?? then grinham 3rd well be in boss rush mode? i dont want to do hero mode

@narutoitachiful Hero Mode will overwrite your current file (and restart the game), so if you don't want to lose that file, copy it over before beating Demise. It's impossible to fight Demise in the Boss Rush on Normal Mode, though you still can fight him as much as you want since he's the final boss and all - just don't activate the Hero Mode save.

RE: Doing this on Hero Mode:

I have a video getting ready to encode as I type. In it, I get to battle 12. Turns out, it's Demise. Turns out, I have one heart left, after number 11 rapes me with her claws and number 1 divests me of nearly half of my hearts. Guess what happens.

@narutoitachiful Yes, but there's a catch - you can only choose the first battle (all others are chosen at random), you don't have your Adventure Pouch (though you keep your equipped shield), and dying is Game Over.

u can use the guardian potion immeadeatly before you start boss rush mode and it will carry over into your first battle

@weegeetailsdoll no when I missed shooting link on top of the imprisoned I ran back up as fast as I can and it was too late for me to shoot again and thus i got a game over.

@20PINKluvr do you mean when groose shoots Link? i thought it was impossible to lose on that, i missed and the imprisoned just sat there for 10 minutes while i stared at him, if you miss that, just jump into the big air vent in the middle and skydive onto his head, really, the whole boss is easy if you turn around at the beginning, go onto the first vent, have groose shoot him and jump on his head, then just use the big vent to skydive on him when he flies

@Slain087 Well done. Did you use any heart/time tricks or just good shield bashing? I've tried twice, and both times at like the eighth boss shield bashing stops working on my 5 year old Nunchuk.

@Slain087 Finally managed it, and with decent hearts remaining too. I didn't record it, though, considering my current problems with my recording software (which is why I don't have the RL vid available atm).

lol i missed my aim during imprisoned III. i got game over cuz i didnt have time to get back up and do it again. so u have to have good aiming
