I did not know how to play with excel formulas, and hence had been using Cogniview's PDFtoXL converter which has quite an extensive list of features and is pretty easy to use. Im using open office first of all, but Im pretty sure u cant highlight text on a pdf, did you skip the step where you convert the pdf into text?
