Peg Elliott Mayo lives in the Oregon Coast Range and is a retired psychotherapist. She is an author, storyteller and artist. She is a healthy old woman, rich in everything except money -- and she's getting by on what she has. Creative passion, humor, quiet time by the river and a certain outlaw quality might start the list. Her interests include Celtic spirituality, mythology, the teachings of Nature, dawgs, justice, passion, creativity, hope, laughter, companionship, solitude, doing service, and using herself humanely, generously and happily.

Peg's story is an inspiration to all of us. Her story is a reminder to make the most of each day and to put your best energy into each day that you have.

All of us are getting older. All of us have a limited number of days. And all of us will face problems of one kind or another during our lives. Whether you or a loved one are dealing with breast cancer, suicide, divorce, or a host of other life changing events, Peg's story is about how attitude matters. Though there are many things in life you cannot control, you can choose how you will respond to what life throws at you.
