  • It is the G_d of spiritual children (thought of as exclusively outside) that is history. To bring G_d here, spiritual adolescents have to start expressing G_d instead of just calling him like babies.

The truth of G_d is pan-en-theistic.

  • @brojobry as Christians.. Bonhoeffer was not stateing that we need to make rational decisons on our own but... he was saying that the Life of a Christian has become so devoid of God that we do not seek God in everything. The Holy Spirit is God in each and everyone of us. He helps guid and direct our lives and choices. We can not be rationally "right" minded without the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

  • We have a resposibility as Ambassodors of Christ to be protrayers of the Ministry of Rconciliation. "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep ones self from being polluted by the wrold" James 1:27 You cannot be without the direction of God in any situation because quite frankly "Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil." Chrsit gave us an agent.. the Holy Spirit who resides in us...

  • We have to plug in to God and let him guide us. We must embrace the poor. We must be the poor. Jesus is not a god of the middle class. Sell all thou hast and take care of the person next to you.

  • I agree we have to take responsiblilty for this world's condition, but this is no evidence that God has called us not to rely on him. If you would read the rest of his stuff you do not see a man who has given up on God. one obscure quote doesn't make a theory. The gospel is not irrelevant because society has given up on it. The World who I supposedly hate is why I do what I do, in love. Through out the bible God is never subject to popular opinion of society.
