@StreetFighterJoe Actually Shakwon has a much more accurate list. Since unblockable set ups Balrog is no longer blanka's worst match up. Fei long is the worst by a long shot. Cammy was horrific in super, but less so now she doesn't have free pressure. Hakan is not a bad match up for blanka, bad blanka's think it is because random ball is unsafe. Blanka doesn't need hori ball or random jump ins to beat hakan, hakan crumbles under blanka's elec-pressure game.

BogUeBoY21. blanka's my main and i'm about 16,100 A. you can blanka slide honda's headbutt reset, you can light vertical ball his sumoslam and you can slide his heavy hands. motion towards boxer to trigger his headbutt and you can combo his health down, stay far from him and wait for your opportunity. for sim, vertical ball his jumps and crouch all-punch to lay low under his heavy arms and fireballs. beating guy, hakan, cammy, feilong, sagat, and abel is too easy though.

@nevrest LQQK here. you need to go learn how to play against him and stop crying about his moves. because i can tell you don't play him nor you are very good in SF. there are many other similar characters that has better horizontal moves, faster, and much more safe that you dont care to mention. IF you can mash jab, you can stop the ball attack, if you can swipe ground with any move, you stop elec. he's low mid tier, stop bitching! idc who u main but i probably can bitch about that character too

@unknown2k1 I don't think so; if you don't know the match-up, Blanka's shennangans will fuck up anyone easy. Why do you think so many low pp players have high bp? His Blanka Ball is a nightmare, that lighting thing unstoppable, and the sliding punch thing is annoying to hair-tearing proportions. If anything, Capcom made this character too easy to obliterate with.

@unknown2k1 IMO, Blanka - Guile is a 5-5, slide on reaction is great against sonic boom.

The worse match up since SFIV for me is Boxer, or maybe dictator.

Yun is very hard in AE, but... it's YUN lol.

Honestly blanka is really not that great of character, but ppl complain and I never understood why. His normals are not good, short range pokes and not fast enough, command moves are unsafe, not much of knowdown moves. Safest and best move is his electricity. His ultra 2 is really hit or miss and anti-air U2 has very small hitbox and ground has not much of damage, but good for chip damage. I love blanka but he is the worst charge character and low tier character. Capcom really screwed Blanka.

in AE or even in SSF4, Guile is one of the hardest Blanka matchup by FAR. His sonic boom has almost zero recovery, which means U2 or slide is pointless to even guess. His flash kick will basically stop you from jumping in or electricity or even balls. It's 7-3 matchup. Honestly, Balrog is not that too bad once you figure his pros and cons. I found my self easy to win against Balrog, and I'm 3500+pp Blanka. I agree on E honda, Dalshim, and good Seth will tare Blanka up!
