In August of 1984, while the city of Dallas hosted the RNC, The LeRoi Brothers, newly signed to CBS Records, were invited to play a live Texas Music showcase on the CBS Morning News. The scene is the 19th floor of the Dallas Hyatt Regency. The time of day is dawn. The song is "Treat Her Right". The band is Joe Doerr (vocals), Steve Doerr (guitar, vocals), Mike Buck (drums), Jack Newhouse (bass), and Evan Johns (guitar). Note Bill Kurtis as MC and anchor woman Jane Wallace's choice comments about Joe's hips.
Evan Johns is one of the greatest guitar players of all times. Love it!

Mike Buck played drums on the first Two Fabulous Thunderbirds albums.....pretty much changed the way blues bands looked and sounded from the late 70's on.

Very nice interpretation. For those who don't know, cruise YouTube for the original, Roy Head, videos. It's a splendid song.
