  • What kind of lid did you use to fit your pvc pipe?

  • Hi Chris, I went to the hardware department of home depot and they have lids that fit their PVC pipes, all different sizes. Hope this helps!

  • Hi Nancy! Yes the canola oil did keep the soap from sticking to the end cap. I was making hot processed soap, so the saponification process happens while the soap is cooking in the crockpot. It is easy to unmold, as all you have to do is pull off the end cap and then just grab the paper at the top and push with your other hand, the bottom of soap and it will slide right out! Thanks for your question. I will posting more of this DVD in the near future so stay tuned!

  • wow

  • Great idea!

  • What a nice lady you are! Did the canola oil spray keep the soap from sticking to it? I thought it would saponify that spray. I use vaseline, but then it's on the soap aftewards.
