Cheers Theme Song - season 4b

In the sixth episode of season four, this new modified version of the theme song was unveiled.
This version was would be used for the remainder of the show and is considered to be the most popular version of "Where Everybody Knows Your Name." This version is more reverberating and cleaner sounding than the previous versions.

That might have been done for syndication, although I am sure that there were episodes that needed additional

"story time" that they used the shorter version as well.
