This video was made in cooperation with the American Diabetes Association to support their school-based outreach and fundraising program: School Walk for Diabetes.
The target audience for this video is school children in grades K-6.
The ADA uses funds generated from the SWFD program to fund diabetes research (for a cure) and education (for prevention). If you are interested in supporting this wonderful program, please visit:

Lindsey has type 1 diabetes. She says that she "eats right" and exercises, as important ways to take care of herself while waiting for a cure. She somehow forgets to mention one other thing: that every day she has to take insulin - by injection or insulin pump - in order to survive. That's a glaring omission in an educational offering.
