im using the same battery in both, its a 5000mah 12v 10 c cell. it powers the 4200xl for about 45 min or so. i traded the cat345 for a wheel loader, there was no need to keep it, the 4200 rocks!!!!

So I am assuming you're using rc4wd's lipo pack of 5 or is it 6000mAh? What's the total runtime of this HK hoe vs the wdc with the same sized batt?
When you got your HK hoe, was the vent on the hyd tank closed or open? When I got mine, the vent was left open, the model soaked in oil & the hyd tank empty!
