I miss Vern Gosdin, but in his honor of "The Voice" I am in the process of making a play list for him.
His memory will always be kept alive on YouTube & we can probably enjoy his music until we pass on I have most of his CDs also :-)

yeah i agree, i haven't liked country music since i was a little kid. i like stuff like waylon, freddie fender, hank williams, lorretta lynn, charlie pride. nowaday's it's total pop music with a purposely exaggerated southern accent.

I think all 'country' music fans are SICK of what theyre hearing out there today.
Personally,VERY seldom do I ever turn the radio on. Its far from country.....Sure am a happy camper that I still have my vinyl collection to listen to and thanks to YOUTUBE and people like you for uploading DAMN good real GENUINE country !

@peetzik Yes! The younger generations are sick of the modern country garbage, which only represents a small market. The young people of today are referring back to the country legends and want to hear Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Charley Pride and Vern Gosdin. We're sick of the garbage Nashville is releasing, because it's not cool anymore, nor is it pleasing to the human ear. Garth Brooks and the hat acts killed the popularity of traditional country music like Vern Gosdin. Real country forever!
