i went through to edinburgh hoping to get a wee glimpse of the set for the up and coming burke and hare film! i would of been happy just with that! but when i got there i some how managed to blend in with the film crew on the set! i was waiting for the security to grab me and throw me out any minute! lol but they just took me for part of the crew! even one crew member started rambling on at me to set up equiptment! lol but when they wrapped filming i hung back and managed to have a chat with legendary film director himself! i never expected that atall! i thought i wouldnt get within 5 ft of him! how nice it was of him to spare a moment to chat with a fan! :)

  • Well done mate. Good videos, and actually getting up close and personal to not only the set, but the main man himself - and, and getting a REAL cameraman to shoot the video. Only a Fifer could do that.

BTW I'm from Cardenden - small world

  • Dude you had your chance to call him out on the Vic Morrow tragedy and you blew it!

If I had gotten that close to the fucker I would have kicked him right in the balls and said "THAT'S FOR VIC MORROW AND THOSE TWO KIDS! PLUS YOUR MOVIES SUCK! But the werewolf effects are so much better then that Twilight bullshit!"

  • Awesome. 1983 - filming Michael Jacksons Thriller. 2010 hanging out with a lad from Glenrothes

  • What a nice chap John Landis appears to be. I'm sure it was helped that you were nice guys too.

  • JOHN LANDIS is really cool dude, letting you interview him & film him as well. Not every director is down to earth like that.

  • I got a mad call from him set up by my mate who is location manger, followed by a signed copy of American werewolff .life is good , and what a nice man !

  • Saw John at the BFI last night. He said he's not making the remake, he's just given his blessing. He said he did it because he makes lots of money and it's a win-win situation. "If it's successful then I make more money, they'll probably do a follow up and I'll make even more money. But if it's terrible, I look like a genius!"

  • Dude i really really hope John Landis dont use CGI too much else it will kill the remake. I miss old makeup. werewolf movies nowadays are an insult to the genre. great interview and hope it is released next year for 30th aniversary.
