shore duty is nothing terrible... hit up some carriers and let the surprise buttsecks really get a hold of ya! you have never been fisted the way a carrier can do it for you.
on a carrier a 8 hour day is an urban legend, you just take naps and go back to work

Man I was east coast mobile security squadron 6 and those cocksuckers know how to ruin your life clean all day clean all night then stand a watch after being awake for 96 hours while the senior enlisted and officers sleep thats the leadership of commander kirby and rodgers I hope they choke on each others dicks next time they suck each other off

Spend some time at PTA or in the field on the Green Side..... I was blue and whined just like you. You got it easy. At least your days are only about 8 hours... and if it is longer, at least you sleep in a bed/shower/eat decent food. Not busting on you. i spent exactly one year in training commands until i hit the fleet. most of the schooling is useless, even my C school, i dont use it for my job cuz it was outdated.
