Canada is a very tough place to find decent work. Much of the work is low paid service type work, but for a career, it is almost impossible unless you are educated in Canada, have a network of influential friends and really understand the culture. Most of Canada has seasonal work. If you live outside of a major city, you will think you are living in a country in the middle of a closing down sale. There are opportunities, and there is a good life to be had, but most people dont have a chance.
