It makes me sad to see her crying... All she ever wanted to do was be true to herself and make other people laugh. I'm glad she ended up being so successful because it is a big middle finger to the ABC president.

Although I disagree what the ABC president says, it's his opinion... just like it's my opinion that he is an ignorant man who is part of why this world can accept blood and guts and people showing scenes that are practically soft porn but not two women showing that they are in love with each other- love is what's been missing in this world for a long time.... sorry had a bit of a blow there.

@xhappyxlifex She wasn't doing that to make Ellen cry; she's been like that in *every* interview I've seen of her. That's just her style, lame or untactful as it may be.

The Robert Iger dude probably only said what he said because of pressure of the *rest* of ABC; they probably just decided to use him as the "mouthpiece" and to be the spokesperson about it, more or less. That doesn't mean that he dislikes gays and lesbians. I will be willing to bet he probably has his own "secret tendencies" and activities behind closed doors.... LOL :):)
