In response to Bre Pettis's "Building a Foxhole Radio", he was having some problems with winding the coil - this is the jig I built for coil winding.

  • that was neat ... the steeper went so fast that the camera couldnt keep up and it looked like it was still :)))

  • @DJRockinRob Actually I think it did get stuck at that point - the driver goes a bit too fast for the clunky old stepper motor :)

  • That’s an awfully hi-tech solution to a simple project. I used to make those when I was 10 years old. Just wrapped some bell wire around a cardboard toilet paper tube. :-)
