My daughter and I hiked a section of the pacific crest trail from hwy 15 to lake silverwood. Due to limited time and no car shuttle we did half and saved the other half for next time. We show you a beautiful canyon, perfect for everything from a walk with the kids to a hike with friends or an over night stay some where in between. •Eric Ryback, popularly known as the first person to hike the length of the PCT, carried an 80-pound pack on his 1970 thru-hike. He had only five resupply packages on the entire trip, and was loaded with 40 pounds of food at the start of each leg. He often ran out of food and foraged or went hungry.

  • @Ericidryfly yea she saw the mormon rocks and in her school, they are learning about the pioneers and native americans. then it clicked to her that her dad, myslef, has a vidoe on these rocks. Now, its become her mission to not only climb them but wants to spend the night in her hennessy hanging from a couple tres on the west face 3/4 the way up! Only 2 trees, which means dad will be in a bivy tied to the trees to pervent me from rolling off! we'l see if that ever happens
