A promo video of the new DVD / CD two disc box set from Rose Records. Recorded at Stratford upon Avon in 2007 and Old Harlow in 2008, this trio recreates the excitement and style of the BG small combinations from the 1930s.
James Evans and Paolo Alderighi are both highly creative young musicians.

  • Why have I never heard of this drummer before? He's a true master!

  • Very nice John. Swingin' me into bad health

  • James Evans may be one of the best jazz clarinetists alive, a real musical genius. Certainly Paulo as well on the piano! And John, swinging like always with one of the best feels of drummers today that I have heard.

A truly excellant Grade A tribute.
