Minutes after the earthquake in NYC we felt it on the 46th floor of the Viacom (MTV) building. The building was bouncing! It was some freaky shit, but kind of interesting at the same time because I never felt anything like that before in my life!

  • @comedicd Lol @ 'ridiculous Royal Purple ads destroying your show'. I'd rather have the royal purple ads to support the show then unskippable pre-roll ads for traveling to nevada or miracle whip. At least I can enjoy the relevance of Royal Purple, and maybe even try 'em out for supporting something I like.

  • @efrankie90 Way to bring up a topic from 3 weeks ago. However, since this video was posted, I've changed my view points. They put the ad up there but give me the ability to skip it altogether. Win-Win.

  • @TheDirtyGoatee they dont have ads at the start of the show, how do you think they monetize it at all?

  • You should film the elevators there. I think they are Westinghouse...

  • @slonlo364 That's true. We aren't nearly as prepared for earthquakes on the East Coast.

  • that is nothing <----from California

  • @EatmyDust1311 Well with your squishy California rocks and buildings on slinkys it isn't a big deal. With these hard dense rocks in the center of the plate a smaller quake goes a lot further than it would over there. Not to mention all the unreinforced masonry on the right side of the country. They have a right to be worried, it's a completely untested situation. No major quakes on this side of the country in over a century. A LOT of buildings have gone up in that century.

  • mean while in Tokyo and Christchurch.......... (harden up DD)

  • Glad u guys r ok;)

  • you know what we californians call a 5.8 quake right derek? NO BIG DEAL!!! it might not even make the news here, but the big babies in nyc get all freaked out huh? happy belated bday from me in Quake Country. was that your first earthquake?
