The 4D was a train that operated in Melbourne only. The similar Sydney version that features here is called a Tangara.

As stated none of the trains here are the "4D". That's the Sydney CityRail network. 4D was a prototype that ran on the Belgrave and Lilydale (Ringwood) lines in Melbourne until 2002 when it was scrapped.
