A 'Clipounet' is a short animated music video of a traditional French nursery rhyme, l'araignée gypsie.
The words to the song are displayed simultaneously, like a karaoke, so that parents can 'sing-a-long' with their little ones.
The 'Clipounets' are used in French pre-schools or "maternelles", as they are called in France, as an educational tool to develop language awareness.
