DragonForce at Southampton Guildhall 23/11/2009

Herman and Sam during some blinding guitar solo work. Sorry about the sound quality - my camera's microphone was kind of overloaded with the sheer volume of the gig, but if you crank up the sound you can make out some of the intricacies of the guitar solos.

Well everytime there is a concert at the guildhall i go straight from school and wait outside the venue, so i got there about 4:20. Id say you have a 75% chance of meeting at least one band member. I went to dream theater at 10:00am. and managed to meet them all, so it's worth the wait! And i certainly do remember all the stuff they were chucking!i got Soaked :)

Aah, I see. :) Nice to have that option! Unfortunately I don't live that close to the venue and had to wait for my hubby to finish work before we could head down there... so it wasn't meant to be this time. I'm often quite lucky in meeting some people at their gigs and delivering them fan-art though. ;)

Ooh, you lucky bugger! :D Did they come out and hang around afterwards then? Sadly my troupe had to leave early in order to make sure my little brother caught his train home.

Do you remember when Sam threw a (largely full) Carling can into the audience? Well, it ended up coming to me and pretty much deposited its entire contents all down my front, LOL!! I could have picked up the can and kept it as a souvenir but I think others were more desperate to get at the sticky dented thing than I was. ;D

You lucky buggar for getting this footage ! I was recording on my video camera and got footage of Glamour of the kill, Sylosis and Sabaton but then a bold security guard saw me and took my video camera away for the rest of the night ! Dammit lol x
