omg its sooo adorable!! is he biting his wing?? ouch

Bats probably don't make very good pets, they tend to live in colonies where they are happiest- as they are social animals. Although some species do live in small groups, generally they never live alone as a rule of thumb. They are also very delicate and require alot of food (bugs) and places to fly, so unless you are a specialist or have a large encloser it is probably best to let this wild animal be free. I am hoping this guy got set free when he was old enough.

@BlastTheBat And why didn't my comment post earlier. Its tagged as a pipistrelle though, a member of a different family than the relatives of Desmodus rotundus, which live in like central and south america. Its the species like Desmodus rotundus that kinda suck and give the rest of chiroptera a bad name.

Why is it doing that to its patagium

i want a pet bat. how do i go about getting a healthy one ?
Ummmm... I don't believe that's a "vampire" bat just because of it's face. I live in Wisconsin. Our bats have blunt noses and protruding ears. But they eat our local vampires... mosquito's!!! LMAO

Aww!
I've been wanting a bat for quite some time.
Can you domesticate them and keep them as pets?
Where'd you get it??
