Procreation? Hmmm. Interesting argument. What about all those unwanted children that heterosexuals pop out? What about all those gay families that already exist who have children and whose rights are threatened by anti-gay family legislation. C'mon - what's the big fricken deal? Unless you are a moral pedagogue, there really is no logical reason to harm gay and lesbian couples through legislation. Just be nice. Live your life, and let love.

For a government, unwanted children are the preferable alternative to a want of children.

In answer to "what is the big deal?" - check out my last video (3). I say that the introduction of new law must be necessary for either creating good or preventing bad. In the eyes of government, gay marriage does neither.

let me ask u this, why legalize interracial marriage? What did it really do for America? If marriage is only for procreation then why not just procreate with your own race? Once you've asked yourself this ponder why NOT legalize gay marriage as it correlates to my example of interracial marriage

The distinction between races is arbitrary. The distinction between sexes is not. This is because the two sexes are anatomically different.

If individuals of the same sex wish to couple, they may. They may even have a wedding (good for business). However, the government needn't involve itself because their relationship - on it's own - is not beneficial to society.

Have you no concept of the power of propaganda to change the way people think? By extending the rights for lesbians and gay men to marry, you automatically begin changing the definition of relationship, family and normality. This shift in perception changes the attitudes of people. This translates into fewer gays and lesbians being murdered by their straight classmates, a decline in gay bashing in general, and the power to protect one's family under the law. I'd call that a good thing!

I didn't either. Until I actually observed it myself. I can't remember the specifics, and I'll have to dig to find it, but I'll post a link on the study. I found it a few months ago, so I should be able find it again. I do remember that it wasn't so much the finger lengths, so much as the ratio between the 3rd and 4th fingers.

I agree that this should not be taught in K-12 schools. They aren't quite there. However, I don't think they do teach this to children. I blame the non-peer reviewed science publications for pushing incomplete work upon the public. They do this all too often with many things. This just happens to be one of those hotbed issues.

Those biological differences are there, and what sparked interest in searching the genome for sexual orientation. Personally, I think the whole search is a waste of resources that could be better spent on other, more important issues. I'm sure you'd agree with me on that. I mean, why bother with MS research, or cancer research, right? No! We have to find out what causes men to have sex with other men, and women to have sex with other women!

Of cource there are a lot of theories, but the thing that really piss me off is how this gey lobbies are using unproven things, presenting them like "the science and the only truth" and are brainwashing the kids...and the society.

The "choice" argument ignores the biological differences that have been noticed in homosexuals, such as neurological pathways, finger lengths, hormonal differences, etc. that have been observed in homosexuals. Being that there are biological differences, it can be reasonably stated that there is also a genetic cause.

Obviously, multiple independent studies coming to the same conclusion is not good enough? Bocklandt and Mustanski found the same genetic markers in different subjects.

If people would get off their high horse about embryo research, we'd have more definitive answers, one way or the other. This is a problem in many countries, and not just the US. As it is, most of the embryo research done now is geared toward actual health issues.
